PicoArex represents the latest frontier in laser technology, capable of emitting ultra-short pulses lasting just picoseconds.

A picosecond is a unit of time equal to one trillionth of a second, or one-thousandth of a nanosecond. Thanks to its extremely short pulse duration, PicoArex increases the shock wave effect of light on ink while reducing the total amount of energy delivered to the tissue. This results in fewer side effects, especially for tattoos requiring multiple sessions.

Authoritative biophysics studies have shown that the shorter the pulse duration, the more effective the laser is at converting energy into shock waves that break down pigment molecules into smaller, easier-to-eliminate particles.
